Welcome to Sunset Cruise News ,

Your inside scoop on all things cruising, brought to you by two people who truly love life at sea.

We’re June and Richard, a family-run team of cruise enthusiasts who share cruise line news, ship highlights, and beautiful photography designed to spark a little wanderlust and a lot of “when can we sail again?” moments. Between us, we’ve sailed with a variety of cruise lines, and each voyage has added something special to our story.

A little about us,

I’m June and I volunteer from home for the crisis text line SHOUT, offering support to those who need it most. I’m currently unable to work due to ongoing medical conditions, including 4 herniated discs, bilateral sciatica, fibromyalgia, and hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Life can be challenging, but that’s exactly why cruising holds such a special place in our hearts. The relaxed pace, time to rest, and the joy of discovering something new each day make cruising the perfect balance of comfort and adventure.

Richard is a Director at an accountancy firm and happily trades spreadsheets for sail-aways whenever possible. For him, a cruise is the ultimate reset , switching off from work, exploring new destinations, and fully embracing holiday mode. And yes, we both agree: great food and well-made cocktails are a big part of the experience.

Whether you’re a seasoned cruiser or planning your very first voyage, Sunset Cruise News is here to keep you informed and inspired. We cover ocean and river cruise news, ship reviews, and destination highlights, no fluff, no bias, just the facts.

Because to us, a sunset at sea is more than just a view. It’s relaxation, adventure, and memories that last a lifetime.

We hope the news we share helps you plan, dream, and count down to your next sail-away.

Bon voyage!
