MSC World Cruise 2028 Announced: 115 Nights, 40+ Destinations, 29 Countries

Bookings now open for MSC Cruises’ 2028 World Cruise adventure

MSC Cruises is officially inviting travelers to circle the globe in style as sales open for the 2028 MSC World Cruise, an extraordinary 115-night voyage aboard the beautifully refurbished MSC Magnifica. Spanning 40+ destinations across 29 countries, this once-in-a-lifetime journey lets guests explore the world without ever having to repack their suitcase.

Departing in early January 2028, the world cruise sails from the Mediterranean through the Caribbean, across the Pacific, into Australasia, through Asia and the Middle East, before returning to Europe. Along the way, guests will enjoy seven overnight stays in standout destinations including Lima, Papeete, Sydney, and Hanoi, allowing for deeper immersion into local culture, cuisine, and everyday life.

The 2028 itinerary blends beloved favourites with brand-new and rarely visited destinations. New ports include Nuku’alofa, Tonga, where authentic Polynesian culture and untouched beaches await; Arica, Chile, known as the “City of Eternal Spring”; and Chan May, Vietnam, a gateway to imperial history and scenic mountain passes. Guests will also visit Grand Turk Island, Callao, Sihanoukville, and Mata, Ecuador, adding even more depth to this global adventure.

Adding to the sense of discovery are rare calls to some of the world’s most remote and iconic places, including Hanga Roa on Easter Island, one of the most isolated inhabited islands on Earth, and a transit through the Panama Canal, where guests will experience one of the world’s most famous engineering marvels firsthand.

Returning guest favorites are also part of the journey, with stops in destinations such as Dubai, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, and Sydney, creating a balanced itinerary that blends familiarity with exploration.
