Royal Caribbean Brings Voyager of the Seas to Brisbane with New Australia and South Pacific Cruises
Voyager of the Seas Sets Sail from Brisbane with Weekend Getaways and Island Escapes
Royal Caribbean has officially turned up the summer vibes in Australia as Voyager of the Seas arrives at her new homeport in Brisbane for the very first time. Marking a major moment for cruising Down Under, the beloved ship is kicking off a season filled with 20 unforgettable sailings designed for families, adventurers, and island lovers alike.
From 3-night weekend getaways to 12-night coastal and island adventures, Voyager’s Brisbane season explores some of the region’s most stunning destinations. Holidaymakers can soak up Queensland’s sun-drenched coastline with visits to Airlie Beach and Cairns, or escape to the South Pacific’s postcard-perfect shores, including Nouméa, Port Vila, Mystery Island, and Luganville.
Royal Caribbean says this season is all about flexibility and fun, with more weekend sailings than ever before, including Friday departures that make it easy to fit a cruise into even the busiest calendars. For those craving extra island time, longer 7- to 9-night South Pacific adventures deliver laid-back rhythms, turquoise waters, and plenty of opportunities to unplug.
The festive season gets an extra sparkle at sea, with special Christmas and New Year’s sailings offering holiday celebrations paired with warm-weather escapes. And for travellers ready to go all out, Voyager also offers a 25-night Transpacific adventure to Seattle, calling on bucket-list destinations across French Polynesia and Hawaii.
On board, Voyager of the Seas brings adventure at every turn. Guests can race down The Perfect Storm waterslides, catch a wave on the FlowRider, lace up skates at Studio B, or battle it out in glow-in-the-dark laser tag at Battle for Planet Z. Younger cruisers can splash away at Splashaway Bay, while adults unwind with a poolside cocktail at The Lime & Coconut or recharge at the Vitality Spa.
Evenings shine just as bright with standout entertainment, including the ice spectacular “Ice Odyssey” and Broadway-inspired performances in “Broadway Rhythm and Rhyme.” When it’s time to dine, guests can explore 20 dining options, from Japanese flavours at Izumi to Italian favourites at Giovanni’s Table and premium cuts at Chops Grille.
Voyager’s arrival in Brisbane follows the recent Australian debut of Anthem of the Seas in Sydney, continuing Royal Caribbean’s strong summer presence in the region. Adding even more excitement, the season will also feature six Wiggly-themed cruises, exclusive to Royal Caribbean, combining family-friendly cruise experiences with appearances by the beloved Wiggly Friends.
With Voyager of the Seas now calling Brisbane home, Royal Caribbean’s Australian summer line-up promises more island time, more flexibility, and more unforgettable memories, just the way cruising Down Under should be.
