America’s Got Talent LIVE Is Heading to Royal Caribbean’s Newest Ship
New Shows, New Venues and First-at-Sea Experiences Await on Legend of the Seas
Royal Caribbean has just announced a brand-new entertainment experience for families, and this one is set to bring plenty of standing ovations at sea. Beginning in August 2026, America’s Got Talent LIVE will debut onboard Legend of the Seas, marking the very first time the globally loved talent show franchise has headlined on a cruise ship.
The new production will take centre stage in Legend’s Royal Theatre, where guests can expect a lively mix of performances inspired by the Got Talent universe. From magicians and musicians to aerialists, acrobats and other jaw-dropping acts, the show is designed to capture the energy and excitement fans know from television , only this time, it comes with an ocean view.
Christine Coachman, Vice President of Entertainment for Royal Caribbean, said the new show reflects the cruise line’s commitment to delivering bold entertainment experiences across stage, air, water and ice.
According to Royal Caribbean, the new production will feature performers from around the world and continue the cruise line’s push towards larger-than-life entertainment onboard its newest ships.
Erica Gadecki, Executive Vice President of Partnership Solutions at Fremantle, said the company is thrilled to bring the Got Talent experience to sea for the first time alongside Royal Caribbean.

But the entertainment doesn’t stop there. Legend of the Seas is also set to debut a packed line-up of productions and venues for guests of all ages. Families can look forward to the at-sea debut of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, alongside performances featuring high divers, aerialists, robots and dancers at the AquaTheater.
Guests can also enjoy performances at Absolute Zero, which Royal Caribbean says will be the largest ice arena at sea. Because apparently regular ice rinks just weren’t ambitious enough.
When the curtain comes down for the evening, passengers will still have plenty to explore across more than 20 bars, lounges and live music venues onboard. Highlights include jazz performances at Lou’s, sing-alongs at Dueling Pianos, and immersive dining venues like Hollywoodland Supper Club and Royal Railway – Legend Station.
As for itineraries, Legend of the Seas will begin sailing 7-night Western Mediterranean holidays in summer 2026 from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia). Ports of call include destinations such as Marseille, Naples and Palma de Mallorca.
The ship will then make its Caribbean debut in November 2026, offering 6-night Western Caribbean and 8-night Southern Caribbean sailings from Fort Lauderdale. Caribbean itineraries will include visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, along with destinations including Aruba and Curaçao.
Royal Caribbean says more details about the ship’s entertainment offerings will be revealed in the coming months.
