Carnival Adventure & Encounter Get Tasty Upgrades with New Dining Venues

Guests sailing from Sydney and Brisbane can soon enjoy new dining experiences on Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter

If you love great food while sailing the high seas, Carnival Cruise Line has some delicious news. The cruise line is rolling out new dining venues aboard two of its Australia-based ships, giving guests even more tasty choices when sailing from Sydney and Brisbane.

New Flavours Arrive on Two Ships

Guests sailing on Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter will soon find some exciting additions onboard. Two guest-favourite dining venues, Fahrenheit 555 and Bonsai Sushi Express, are making their debut on both ships.

Starting May 4th, cruisers on all four Carnival ships homeported in Australia will be able to enjoy the cruise line’s signature steakhouse experience.

A Premium Steakhouse Experience

Named for the sizzling temperature used to perfectly sear premium cuts of meat, Fahrenheit 555 is Carnival’s upscale steakhouse concept. The menu features a tempting line-up of premium beef cooked exactly the way guests like it, along with seafood options, gourmet mains, appetisers, and an extensive wine list.

The popular steakhouse is already a favourite on Carnival Splendor and Carnival Luminosa, and it will soon replace Luke’s Bar and Grill aboard Adventure and Encounter.

Sushi on the Go

For those craving something lighter, or simply looking for a quick bite between poolside relaxation and evening entertainment, Bonsai Sushi Express brings a convenient takeaway option.

The venue offers an affordable menu of freshly made sushi, sashimi, rolls, salads, poke bowls, and desserts. After proving popular aboard Carnival Luminosa, the sushi spot is now expanding to sailings departing from Sydney and Brisbane.

More Changes Coming

Carnival’s decision to introduce more of its own signature dining experiences across its Australian fleet follows its partnership with chef Luke Mangan and the now-retired P&O Cruises Australia brand.

According to Carnival Cruise Line Assistant Vice President of Sales and Marketing Anton Loeb, the goal is to ensure guests enjoy Carnival’s signature offerings regardless of which Australia-based ship they choose.

Looking ahead, more dining updates are also on the horizon. A new specialty burger venue called Carnival Topside Grill is set to replace Luke’s Burgers on board.

Even More to Look Forward To

With steakhouse favourites, fresh sushi, and new burger options on the way, Carnival is clearly focused on expanding onboard dining for guests sailing from Australia. For cruisers planning their next getaway from Sydney or Brisbane, these new options mean even more delicious ways to enjoy time at sea.

And honestly, nothing pairs with an ocean sunset quite like a great meal.
