Oceania Cruises' 2026 Caribbean Season is All About Culture, Cuisine and Relaxation

Adults-only cruise combine hidden gems, gourmet dining and elegant small-ship cruising

If your idea of the perfect Caribbean cruise is more than just finding the nearest sun lounger, Oceania Cruises has some exciting news.

The luxury cruise line has unveiled its Caribbean programme for late 2026, with a collection of adults-only cruises designed to take guests beyond the region's famous beaches and into the heart of its vibrant cultures, colourful towns and incredible food scene.

Sailing aboard Oceania Vista, Oceania Allura and the newly refreshed Oceania Marina, guests can choose from itineraries lasting between seven and 14 days, with each cruise offering a blend of well-loved destinations and lesser-known island gems.

Famous Islands... and a Few Hidden Treasures

While ports such as Aruba, Cozumel and Montego Bay are all on the itinerary, Oceania Cruises is also shining a spotlight on smaller destinations including Basseterre in St. Kitts, Philipsburg in St. Maarten and Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe.

It's a chance to experience a different side of the Caribbean, one filled with local traditions, colourful markets and authentic island life.

Food Lovers Are in for a Treat

One thing Oceania Cruises has become well known for is its focus on cuisine, and these Caribbean sailings continue that tradition.

Guests can visit a beekeeping collective in St. Lucia, browse artisan stalls in Guadeloupe or discover the surprising number of banana varieties grown in Martinique.

If eating your way around the Caribbean sounds more appealing, there are plenty of opportunities for that too. Shore excursions include sampling Dutch cheeses and wines in the UNESCO-listed streets of Willemstad, Curaçao, while another takes guests to an organic farm in Tortola for a Chef-led experience followed by lunch by the beach. Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises, said the itineraries are designed to showcase the Caribbean's remarkable diversity while offering even seasoned travellers a fresh perspective on destinations they may have visited before.

He added that after each day exploring ashore, guests can return to the refined adults-only atmosphere and elegant surroundings aboard the ships.

The Caribbean Experience Continues On Board

The destinations may steal the headlines, but the onboard experience has plenty to offer too.

Selected evenings will feature themed Chef's Market Dinners in the Terrace Café, celebrating local Caribbean flavours, while The Culinary Center will host hands-on cooking classes inspired by the region's ingredients and traditions.

Guests can even brush up on their photography skills through LYNC digital classes, making it easier to capture those picture-perfect turquoise waters and colourful island landscapes.

The season includes a variety of sailings to suit different holiday lengths and interests.

The 14-day Dutchman's Caribbean, departing Miami on 11 November 2026 aboard Oceania Vista, visits destinations including Aruba, Curaçao, Grenada, Barbados and St. Lucia, combining Dutch-Caribbean heritage with volcanic scenery and bustling local markets.

Those looking for a shorter luxury escape can choose the 10-day Caribbean Island Bliss aboard Oceania Allura, sailing from Miami on 2 December 2026. Guests will visit St. Thomas, St. Barts, St. Maarten, St. Croix and Tortola, enjoying everything from snorkelling to relaxed island dining.

Food takes centre stage on the 12-day Collector's Caribbean aboard Oceania Marina, departing 10 December 2026. One standout excursion in Antigua sees guests prepare a three-course Caribbean meal with chefs trained by Michelin-starred chef Colin McGurran.

Holidaymakers can also celebrate Christmas aboard the seven-day Tropical Retreats sailing, departing 21 December aboard Oceania Allura, with calls at Costa Maya, Roatan, Harvest Caye and Cozumel, where a Chef-led tequila versus mezcal tasting and taco pairing adds an extra flavour to the day.

Meanwhile, the 14-day Caribbean Celebration aboard Oceania Marina departs on 22 December and offers a festive escape featuring Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire and a memorable New Year's Eve call in Martinique before ending in St. Kitts and St. Maarten.
