Royal Caribbean and The Wiggles Team Up for National Tree Day Initiative

Families booking selected Wiggly-themed sailings will help support native tree planting in Queensland and New South Wales

Family holidays usually end with a camera roll full of photos, tired little travellers and maybe a suitcase that's somehow heavier on the journey home. This summer, Royal Caribbean and The Wiggles are hoping families will leave behind something even more special, a native tree.

To celebrate the arrival of the much-loved Tree of Wisdom on this season's Wiggly Cruises, Royal Caribbean has teamed up with Australian environmental charity Planet Ark to plant a native tree in Queensland or New South Wales for the first 1,000 families who book one of three Wiggly-themed sailings during the 2026–27 summer season.

The initiative, announced ahead of National Tree Day on 26 July, is supported by a $20,000 donation from the Royal Caribbean Group Foundation and aims to create a lasting environmental legacy that families can feel proud to be part of.

The Tree of Wisdom Is Ready to Set Sail!

Following the success of last summer's Wiggly Cruises, Royal Caribbean is welcoming back plenty of familiar faces, with the fan-favourite Tree of Wisdom joining the onboard fun for the first time.

If your little ones can't resist singing and dancing along with The Wiggles, they're in for a treat.

Families can look forward to sail away parties with DJ Dorothy, live shows, ultimate family discos, meet-and-greets and photo opportunities with The Wiggles and their Wiggly Friends. Expect plenty of singing, dancing and those catchy tunes you'll probably still be humming long after you've unpacked!

Kathryn Lock, Senior Marketing Director for Royal Caribbean Australia and New Zealand, said the partnership brings together unforgettable family holidays with meaningful environmental action.

She added that, following the success of the first season of Wiggly Cruises, Royal Caribbean is excited to expand the experience with even more memorable moments, especially with the arrival of the much-loved Tree of Wisdom.

A Holiday That Gives Something Back

The Royal Caribbean Group Foundation's donation to Planet Ark will help grow greener communities by supporting native tree planting across Queensland and New South Wales.

Planet Ark CEO Adam Culley said the partnership is a great way to encourage families to take part in positive environmental action, showing that even small steps can make a meaningful difference for future generations.

Dominic Field, who brings the Tree of Wisdom to life for The Wiggles, said the initiative is a fun way to show children that looking after the planet is just as important as having fun, helping create a positive legacy for the next generation of Wiggles fans.

Three Wiggly Adventures Await

Families can choose from three special Wiggly-themed sailings during the 2026–27 season:

  • 30 November 2026 – A 4-night Quantum of the Seas getaway from Brisbane to Airlie Beach featuring Tsehay Hawkins (Yellow Wiggle) and the Wiggly Friends.

  • 1 March 2027 – A 4-night Anthem of the Seas sailing from Sydney to Hobart with Lucia Field (Blue Wiggle) and the Wiggly Friends.

  • 19 March 2027 – A 7-night Quantum of the Seas South Pacific adventure from Brisbane featuring Caterina Mete (Red Wiggle), Evie Ferris (Yellow Wiggle) and the Wiggly Friends.

Whether it's dancing with the Tree of Wisdom, meeting The Wiggles or setting sail on a family adventure, these cruises promise plenty of smiles from the moment guests step onboard.

And this time, those holiday memories won't just stay in the family photo album. Thanks to this partnership with Planet Ark, the first 1,000 families to book will also be helping something special take root back on shore.

Now that's a tree-mendous way to celebrate National Tree Day!

Until next time, keep dreaming of your next cruise.
